Gladys Ann Adiku

As a board member and director, Gladys helped in creating the mission and vission statement. She helped budgeting and fundraising. She is dedicated in working and providing  support to the executive of the group. She is also dedicated in assisting in organizational activities and development of solutions as part quality management of the team. She will help in program organizations, quality services and develop approved strategic plans.

Comfort Kafui Affram

Treasurer

As a Board member Comfort supports the work of D’s Divine Sewing Center by providing expertise in leadership and governance of the organization. She specifically serves as a trusted advisor to the chief executive officer (CEO) in development and implements D’s Divine Sewing Center strategic plans. She also reviews and regularly measure the performance of D’s Divine Sewing Center prior to board meetings. She is an integral part of the decision-making body in budgeting, business and all other responsibilities that contribute to annual performance evaluation of the CEO. She also assists the CEO in recruiting the teaching staff if the need arises and ensure the D’Divine Sewing Center reflects the communities it serves.

Dinah Enyonam Gbeddy

Founder/ CEO

Dinah Gbeddy, our CEO and Founder, is a passionate and competent leader with a long track record in youth education and has excellent project management skills. Dinah has a Higher National Diploma in Fashion Design and Textile Studies with specialization in Designing, Drawing/Artwork, drafting and  sewing from Ho Polytechnic Volta Region, Ghana.  With over 20 years teaching experience, Dinah brings on board her exceptional and inspiring leadership skills to steer the NGO toward achieving its objective of empowering women and girls in Kwamoso. Possessing vast managing directorship, Dinah plans to continue to ensure the NGO ‘s expectation and objectives are met and maintained. She also served as a role model for her students.

Dorie Gifty Bansah

Secretary

Dorie Gifty Bansah is a Retired Educationist with over thirty years of teaching, counseling, and guidance across Primary to Secondary Levels of Education. She graduated with a Bachelor of Education from the University College of Education, Winneba, and taught different classes at Benkum Senior High School from 1997 to 2014. While there, she serves in various distinguished positions such as the Senior house mistress and as a Guidance and Counseling team member. She also had the privilege of working at the School for the Blind at Larteh Akwepim as a teacher, Project Secretary at World Vision School-Based Program, a Facilitator at Child Evangelism Fellowship, Financial Secretary at Global evangelical Church, Koforidua Presbytery, and as District Women’s Leader at  Global Evangelical Church, Akwapem North District.  In her personal life. Miss Dories is an entrepreneur with decades of experience in project management. 
As a board member, she brings her tremendous experience and managerial skills to help the program director achieve the organization’s objectives. She is passionate about helping the youth in building a solid financial background for their future.

Mawuenyo Adra

Board Member


Was a 3yr Cert A teacher.She taught in some basic schools in the Volta and Eastern regions of Ghana.Later she obtained her 1st degree in Special Education in University College Winneba,and taught  in a Special school at Agona Swedru in the Central region.She was the school treasurer in that school for seven years then left Eastern  region again as a classroom teacher ,in a basic school for seven years .Mawuenyo had an appointment in the G E S as a Finance Administrator till her retirement.Now resides in the Eastern region.

Rosina Avotri

Board Member

She graduated from the University of Ghana, 1969-1973. She did a one year pedagogical training in the teaching of French language in France. She taught in various secondary schools in Ghana and Nigeria. While teaching in a girl's school in the Volta Region of Ghana, she was the supervisor of the boarding house for about 150 girls. She also served as a Board member for Youth for Christ, Volta Region, 1994-1998. 
She retired after 25 years of teaching. 
She is an advisor to the CEO in disciplinary matters of D'Divine Sewing Center.

Joana Akweley Koranteng 

Board Member

Mrs. Joana Akweley Koranteng currently holds the position of board member in D’s Divine Sewing Center. She has extensive experience working with girls and woman of all ages and ethnicity in Ghana. Before joining this organizations, she served as the Science Coordinator for Ghana Educational Service’s National Science Resource Center. She also enjoyed a long career as a teacher in prestigious schools such as Aburi Girls and Koforidua Secondary Technical as a Chemistry and science tutor. Outside the classroom, she has held positions such as Treasurer and Minister-In-Charge in several institutions.

Mrs, Joana Akweley Koranteng has a BSc. Biochemistry from University of Science and Technology and a P.D.G.E. Chemistry from University of Cape Coast. As a board member, Mrs. Joana brings on board her exceptional leadership and tutoring skills to help the CEO in the day to day planning of activities for the organization and specials training programs for the participants.
